• DAILY YOGA SESSIONS: Pura Vida Resort and Spa staff yoga instructors offer their own unique style of hatha yoga in four gorgeous yoga halls, twice a day except on Wednesdays. While the style may vary from instructor to instructor and week to week, our classes are always appropriate for students of all levels and our teachers are extremely responsive to students’ needs and interests.

• TWO HALF DAY ECO-ADVENTURES: Waterfall Garden Adventure on Monday and Poas Volcano on Friday. Five stunning waterfalls are the star attraction at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, near the Poás Volcano. Walking trails wind past the country’s biggest Butterfly Observatory, through gardens swarming with vivid hummingbirds, to the cloud forest, ending in sweeping views of the waterfalls. Knowledgeable local naturalists are your guides. The active Poás Volcano has been described as Costa Rica’s coolest volcano experience. One of its enormous prehistoric-looking main craters contains boiling, sulfurous gases, the other cold rain water. Witness volcanic activity up close and firsthand, and experience four distinctly different natural habitats.
