• BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER : Every meal at La Quicona Eco Lodge is an authentic and traditional Costarrican  meal, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to bring nature to the table. • DAILY YOGA SESSIONS: La Quicona Eco Lodge staff yoga instructors offer their own unique style of Hatha yoga outdoors or indoors, weather permitting, once a day except on Wednesdays. While the style may vary from instructor to instructor and week to week, our classes are always appropriate for students of all levels and our teachers are extremely responsive to students’ needs and interests.

• ONE HOUR MASSAGE: Among our Wellness Center staff are some of the most gifted and commended therapists in the country. Each highly trained in specific bodywork and committed to healing from the heart, each with the essential gift of being present in this beautiful, powerful setting. • ONE FULL DAY ECO-ADVENTURE: Choose any full day eco-adventure to do on Wednesday. 14 acres of breathtaking natural beauty, astonishing tropical birds and wildlife, dazzling flora and fauna, majestic cloud-capped forests, flowing rivers, waterfalls,  and active volcanoes all wait to be experienced and explored in one of the most bio-diverse countries in the world. Select from our extensive portfolio of eco adventures, designed to introduce you to the beauty, culture, traditions and history of the “south region” we consider paradise on earth. A $110 value. You are welcome to trade your eco-adventure tours for credit towards Spa therapies.

• TWO HALF DAY ECO-ADVENTURES: Waterfall Hike Adventure on Monday and Irazu Volcano on Friday. Bath in the stunning secret waterfall only a 25 minute hike through forest trails near our property swarming with 200 species of birds, to the cloud forest, ending in sweeping views of the waterfall. The active Irazu Volcano has been described as Costa Rica’s coolest volcano experience. One of its enormous prehistoric-looking main craters contains boiling, sulfurous gases, the other cold rain water. Witness volcanic activity up close and firsthand, and experience four distinctly different natural habitats. A $100 minimum value. You are welcome to trade your eco-adventure tours for credit towards Spa therapies.

• COFFEE PLANTATION GUIDED HIKE: Stroll through the coffee fields in the surroundings areas of Santa Maria de Dota, while your guide fills you in on the life story of coffee from the time it’s planted to the time it is served in your mug, along with some general history of Costa Rica and how coffee relates to it.
